As you may have heard, Ukraine is accepting foreign volunteers in their fight to drive off Russian invaders. For those either passionate about defending the underdog, or just wanting a chance to prove themselves, this sounds like a promising opportunity. The question becomes, should you go?

A virus sweeps through the nations of the world. Governments scramble to find a cure or vaccine. People shelter in their homes whether through caution or law. How should the Asatruar adapt to this? It is covered in the old stories.

One source of stress for new Heathens is that the Christians will belittle your religion. They will tell you that you are just connected to some fringe group and that you will eventually need to grow up. That's just a tool they use to make themselves seem normal. The U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs would disagree with them.

I've often been asked why Thor is so popular. He is one of the best known Gods, even outside of the Asatru folk. There is a major comic book franchise based on Him. That is mighty impressive in a heavily Christian world. So what does He have that makes His comic books sell better than those of other religious figures?

Many Asatru people wear Hammer necklaces. These Hammers are representative of Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir. For some, it is a protective amulet. For others, it is just a reminder of their connection with the Gods. Either way, it is a symbol of the religion called Asatru.
